Punjab Government has extended imposition of Section 144 in the province. According to home department Punjab under the Section 144, complete ban on flying drones in open area will continue due to security reasons. The ban imposed on flying drones outdoor under section 144 has been extended for 30 days. Punjab government has taken this decision due to security reasons. Small drones can be used during ceremonies inside halls and marquees. However law enforcement and intelligence institutions will remain exempt from this ban.
