LAHORE: The Punjab government has issued a tender for hiring a plane for the Chief Minister. According to the tender document detailing the requirements, the plane should a super mid-size executive jet that will be hired for three months for the Punjab Chief Minister. The plane must be 8 to 10 seaters. It has also been declared mandatory to have a full crew member along with the chartered plane. The Punjab government will pay the expenses in terms of crew and petrol along with the rent. The Punjab government has fixed an estimate of $3000-4000 for the mid-size jet. The Punjab government has set a deadline of December 30 for the receipt of bids. The current government plane of the Punjab government has not been able to fly and a year and a half time is required for purchasing a new plane. DNA
