Punjab RCS hands over relief goods to KP Governor house authorities

PESHAWAR: Relief goods for the affected people of Tirah Valley and Kurram have arrived at the Governor House Peshawar on the instructions of the Governor of Punjab. At the Governor House Peshawar, relief supplies from the Punjab Red Crescent Society (RCS) were handed over to the merged districts branch of the Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The relief supply handover ceremony at the Governor House Peshawar was attended by Principal Secretary to the Governor Zubair Arshad, PRCS Merged Districts Imran Wazir, Secretary Shahid Malik, and PRCS Punjab General Secretary Mehboob Qadir Shah along with Zeeshan Ashfaq. The relief goods for the affected people of Tirah and Kurram include 500 packages. Each of the 500 packages, weighing 20 kilograms, contains flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil (ghee), and other food items. The relief supplies sent by PRCS Punjab also include 1,900 bottles of clean drinking water and medicines for 3,000 patients. The Red Crescent Society merged districts will distribute the relief goods among the affected people who have been temporarily evacuated from the Tirah Valley. APP
