LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi phoned his Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan and express solidarity with Peshawar blast victims. Talking to KP chief minister, Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the suicide attack. He extended condolence over the loss of precious lives and express heartfelt sympathy for the victims’ families. He said like the nation, Punjab stands by the families of the martyrs in this hour of sorrow. “I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. The entire nation is saddened by this tragedy,” he said stressing that everyone will have to work together to eradicate terrorism. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also phoned his KP counterpart and condemned the suicide attack in Peshawar. Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives. He prayed the Almighty may rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. A suicide bomber exploded himself during Zuhr prayers at a mosque inside Police Lines in Peshawar, martyring 33 worshippers and injuring more than 147 others including policemen. DNA
