PESHAWAR
At least seven cops sustained injuries in a quadcopter attack targeting police personnel in Dargah Shaheedan area within the jurisdiction of Khurram Muhammad Zai Police Station in Karak district on Wednesday.
According to police report, terrorists used a quadcopter to attack police officials during an ongoing security operation in the area. As a result, seven police personnel sustained injuries.
The injured cops were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that all seven injured policemen are in stable condition after receiving prompt medical care.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search and clearance operation against the militants involved.
The security personnel remain on high alert and started efforts to eliminate any threats in the region. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
