PESHAWAR
Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has asked the government and the opposition to set aside their political differences and devise an effective strategy to address new challenges to country economy and stability.
He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa once again experiencing rising threats of terrorism and lawlessness which demand political unity and prudent decisions on the part of the incumbent provincial and federal governments.
Addressing an event held in connection with the 15th anniversary, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao called upon the political leadership of the country to review its policies with neighbour countries for maintaining law and order situation across the country.
He said that lawlessness is being increased in KP and the province is onc again facing a severe wave of terrorism.
Commenting on the Bannu incident, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf( PTI) government has failed to increase the capacity of the police and other law enforcement agencies.
He urged the government to curb lawlessness and equip police and law enforcement to deal with the problem and prevent incidents terrorism.
QWP chief accused the provincial government of failing to control the terrorist incidents and improve the security of the province.
QWP chairman maintained that ongoing political Instability and poor law and order situation were affecting the economy. Sherpao termed a strong economy the guarantee of the defense of the country.
On this occasion, the provincial chairman of QWP Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, district officials and workers of the party were also spoked.
