BATTAGRAM
An awareness walk and rally were organized in Battagram district on the occasion of International Labor Day to honor the contributions of workers and raise awareness about their rights.
The event, held at Government High School Battagram, was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)Zia-ur-Rehman Saeed.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation from the school principal, teachers, government officials, and representatives from various labor unions. Participants expressed solidarity with the working class and emphasized the need for fair wages, better working conditions, and the enforcement of labor laws.
Speaking at the event, ADC Zia-ur-Rehman Saeed said, “Hardworking people are the backbone of our society. We must ensure their rights are protected and that government-framed laws are implemented to provide decent employment opportunities.”
To amplify the message, banners promoting workers’ rights and their role in national development were displayed at key locations across the district.
