Re-polling process should be completed amicably, ANP

Awami National Party (ANP) provincial general secretary and parliamentary leader Sardar Hussain Babak has said that the February 13 re-polling phase of the local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) should be completed amicably.
Talking to reporters in his chamber in the Provincial Assembly, Sardar Hussain Babak said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost political tolerance, adding that the ruling party was fostering provocation and intolerance among its party workers.
Sardar Hussain Babak said that in the past, elections in the province were held in an atmosphere of great politeness, respect and tolerance but the political environment has been changed by the PTI workers and leadership.
“A responsible citizen has a duty to respect the rule of law,” he said. We must all discourage lawlessness and play our part in upholding the rule of law, adding that fighting elections was not the name of the game.
Babik said that everyone has to fulfill their responsibility to make the elections clean and transparent.
The recent decisions of the Election Commission regarding the implementation of the law are highly valued.
Recent decisions of ECP have given new hope to millions of voters across the country.
Babik said that everyone should play their role in restoring the lost credibility of the Election Commission.
The present rulers have left no stone unturned in weakening and discrediting politics, he added.
