Sony Middle east & Africa recently concluded its evocative exhibition titled “Remains of the Day” in Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore. The showcase, presented by Sony’s Brand Ambassador, Mr. Asmar Hussain, and curated by “Camera for People”, brought to light the profound impact of climate change through 31 striking images. These photographs, taken between August and December 2022, unveiled the harrowing aftermath of floods in Dera Ismail Khan District, highlighting decimated agricultural lands and the displacement of countless residents. The exhibition’s core message revolved around the enduring human spirit amidst disaster and after a year people affected are still waiting for the Relief promised.
Exhibition was attention by numerous senior photographers, artists, and students, the event served as a poignant reminder of our shared responsibility in the face of global challenges.
