ISLAMABAD: Renowned Urdu poet Nasir Kazmi was remembered on his 93rd birth anniversary on Sunday. Ceremonies were organized in various cities across the country to pay tributes to the legend poet. Nasir Kazmi was born on December 8, 1925 at Ambala in British-India, Nasir Kazmi was considered as one of the greatest poets of his era. He received his early education from Ambala, Simla and Lahore. With ambitions to become a journalist, he worked with Auraq-e-Nau as an editor and became editor-in-chief of the magazine in 1952. Later, the famous poet was associated with Radio Pakistan and other literary publications and organizations. INP
