Regional Police Officer (RPO) Kohat, Abbas Majeed Marwat, conducted a comprehensive visit to the Pak-Afghan border at Kharlachi Zero Point and surrounding police installations to assess security arrangements in Kurram district.
He was accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Ahmed Shah.
During his visit, RPO Marwat inspected police deployments near the Kharlachi border and carried out a detailed review of an under-construction road protection check post and the Roza Police Station located on Parachinar Bypass Road and at Ahmad Zai Chowk.
Meeting with contractors at the construction sites, the RPO issued directives to expedite work to enhance law and order infrastructure in the region.
He emphasized the importance of completing these projects swiftly for better highway security.
RPO Marwat also visited police stations in Agra, Sameer, Sadda, and the Police Lines in Sadda, where he examined administrative records, armory, residential barracks, and other essential facilities.
He noted his observations in the official inspection register (Register No. 13).
Highlighting officer safety, RPO Marwat instructed personnel to wear protective gear at all times while on duty and stressed the importance of readiness in unpredictable situations. As a gesture of encouragement, he distributed cash prizes among officers demonstrating outstanding performance.
