Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry held Akhuwat Awareness session in association with Akhuwat team.
During the awareness session, the general and executive women members of Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce were briefed about the procedures, aims and objectives of the Akhuwat loan.
While adressing the session President of Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce Uzma Shahid Butt said that holding Akhuwat loan awareness sessions would help women to expand their business and start new business by taking interest free loans.
While addressing the women participants Regional Manager Akhuwat Mumtaz Ahmed said that men and women can benefit equally from Akhuwat loan. He also thanked Rwcci team for hosting the session.
Akhuwat branches are established every four to five kilometers across the district. Poor women are getting loans for their business without strict conditions. The loan procedure has been kept very simple.
He thanked Uzma Butt President Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Miss Asma Founder President, Almas Akhtar Senior Vice President RWCCI, and Junaid Yousaf General Secretary for organizing the event.
The Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Akhuwat agreed to work together on women’s issues in the future. At the end of the ceremony President Uzma Butt of Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber of Commerce also presented a shield to Mumtaz AhmedRegional Manager of Akhuwat
