Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has decided to withdraw bill of life time perks and privileges for chairman Senate due to opposition from government.
He has issued directives to respective senators to withdraw bill.
Sadiq Sanjrani wanted to get pass the private bill with finance bill. But government ministers had announced to oppose it. Sadiq Sanjrani went back due to opposition from government. Therefore, he has decided to withdraw the perks and privileges for chairman Senate bill.
It is pertinent to mention here under the bill Sadiq Sanjrani was to be provided 12-member staff and security after retirement. He wanted to obtain other luxury facilities as well.
