PESHAWAR
Kashmir Day Cycle Race organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association was won by Sajid Ali Khan of Peshawar, Umar Farooq of Mardan grabbed the second position and Nabiullah remained at third position respectively. President Pakistan Cycling Federation Syed Azhar Ali Shah, KP Cycling Association Arbab Jandad Khan, President Nisar Ahmed and other important personalities were present who gave away trophies and cash prizes to the position holders players.
A cycle race was organized on the occasion of Kashmir Day, in which Sajid Ali Khan of Peshawar came first in 28 kilometers road race with his time 31:2sec, Umar Farooq of Mardan came second with a time of 31:3sec, while Nabiullah of Peshawar came first with a time of 31:4sec.
President of the Provincial Cycling Association Nisar Ahmed while talking to the media said that the Kashmir Day cycle race covered 28 kilometers from Patang Chowk to Northern Bypass in which more than fifty cyclists from Peshawar, Mardan and Malakand Division participated. He said that like every year, this year too, a bicycle race was organized on the occasion of Kashmir Day. The aim of the race is to express solidarity with Kashmiris and on the other hand, to provide opportunities to sportsmen to show their skills.
