LAHORE, November 14 (Online): Former speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq has been granted interim bail in rioting case.
As many as 4 PML-N leaders including Ayyaz Sadiq and Khawaja Suleman Rafiq had filed interim bail plea in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) in rioting case-2018. They had taken out a rally to welcome Nawaz Sharif in 2018.
The court has restrained the police from arresting the accused persons till November 16.
Talking to media men outside the court, Ayyaz Sadiq said he had approached court for interim bail so that no disturbance is created in public meeting on December 16.
He held PDM meeting is going to take place on November 17 to evolve future strategy.
