ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed contempt of court plea against former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal. Ahsan Iqbal had said we have also respect like a military officer or judge. The case came up for hearing before CJP Umar Ata Bandial here Tuesday. The CJP remarked Ahsan Iqbal had said we have too respect like any army officer or judge. This sentence is not enough to run a case further. he CJP remarked this is upto us to decide if the contempt of court has taken place or otherwise.
