SC-KP for strict action against aerial firing, one wheeling on moon night

The Chief Secretary Dr Shehzad Khan Bangash has directed the quarter concerned to take strict action against the aerial firing and ensure effective security arrangements for Eid prayers across the province.
He expressed these during a high level meeting on Eid-ul-Fitr in the civil secretariat Peshawar which was also attended by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Moazzam Jahan Ansari. The meeting was attended by district level police officers through video link.
Chief Secretary Dr Shehzad Khan Bangash directed that best arrangements be made for the security of Eid prayer gatherings on Eid-ul-Fitr, including measures to facilitate tourists at tourist spots and availability of fuel at filling stations during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Giving instructions, the IG-KP Moazam Jah Ansari directed the RPO and Pos to take pragmatic measures to prevent aerial firing, one wheeling on moon night, and also to facilitate the passengers traveling to their areas for Eid.
Dr Shehzad Khan Bangash also directed the food safety authority should also keep a close eye on the quality of food items at the bakeries to provide food items in accordance with the principles of health.
The meeting also issued instructions to the concerned authorities to take steps to control load shedding on Eid-ul-Fitr.
