Tanzeeme Asateza Landi Kotal chapter gave away free school bags and stationary to the 100 poor and deserving students here on last day.
The package was separately granted to the learners in various government –run educational institutions (boys and girls) of the subdivision.
Speaking on occasion the President Tanzeeme Asateza,Landi Kotal Sharifullah Afridi said that from day one, the organization engaged in efforts to safeguard interests of both the teachers and students and would continue their hard word in that regard.
The purpose of the wellbeing activity was to support the have not parents who could not afford to provide books and other necessities to their children, Afridi added.
Flanked by social workers Maroof Afridi and Nadir Shah Afridi,he maintained that due to poor economic condition, number of poor students in the State-run schools were increasing therefore it was a petty effort of the organization not to deprive any single student of his, her basic right of getting education.
He demanded of the philanthropists to come forward and assist them in the noble cause of providing free education facilities to the poor segments of the tribal society.
