The second National Women’s Lacrosse Championship is starting at Abbottabad from December 12, in which nine teams from across the country are participating.
Foreign delegates are also participating in the championship. In this regard, Commissioner Hazara Region Syed Zaheer ul Islam has said that sports play an important role in eliminating disappointment.

Regional Sports Officer Ahmed Zaman and Secretary of Pakistan Lacrosse Federation Taifur Zarin were also present on the occasion. Syed Zaheer ul Islam said that the people of Abbottabad are well educated and civilized citizens.
A safe and peaceful environment will be provided to the female players. He said that the girls of schools and colleges of Abbottabad will be invited to introduce them into the game.
He assured that the administration will provide full patronage and ensure facilities to female players coming from all over the country. Earlier, the founder of Pakistan Lacrosse Federation, Taifur Zarin, said that this is an American game. Which is the national game of Canada, the national team has been selected in this game and the target has been set for the 2028 Olympics.
Which brings medals for the country. There will also be competitions in Saudi Arabia. And players will also be trained in Japan. He has said that teams from all over Pakistan are participating in the competition to be held in Abbottabad.
