Sector Commander Jhelum and Sector Commander Gujranwala, by sapling, formally started Motorway Sector N-5 North II Jhelum planting campaign on Sunday.
Additional IG Muhammad Zubair Hashmi, DIG North Ashfaq Ahmed khan were present on the occasion.
Private school children and Compassion trust participated in the plantation drive along with the National Highways and Motorway Police under which 1000saplings were planted.
Later on Additional IG North Region and DIG North Zone later inspected the operation room and said that modern equipment and public service vehicle trackers should be made effective in checking traffic violations.
To maintain departmental diginity, he urged the officers and employees to provide assistance to road users on priority basis and any traffic violation should not be ignored and good manners should be shown.
