Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Masood Ahmed conducted an extensive visit to various intermediate examination centers in the provincial capital to inspect arrangements and ensure effective measures against cheating.
Accompanied by Commissioner Peshawar Division and Chairman of the Peshawar Education Board, Riaz Khan Mehsud, as well as Secretary Board Mehdi Jan, the Secretary reviewed the facilities provided to students and assessed the implementation of anti-cheating protocols.
During the visit, Masood Ahmed interacted with students to gather feedback regarding the examination environment and the facilities being provided. He instructed examination staff and center administrators to maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere and ensure that students are not harassed in any manner.
He emphasized the dual responsibility of facilitating students and upholding transparency by strictly curbing cheating. “No effort should be spared in supporting students, while ensuring that exams remain fair and credible,” he stated.
The Secretary noted that, under the directives of the provincial government, decisive action is being taken against plagiarism and cheating to protect the rights of capable and hardworking students. “The objective is to ensure merit prevails and that students’ efforts are rewarded justly,” he added.
