Secretary Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Department KP Mukhtiar Ahmed on Friday paid a visit to tribal district Khyber and inspected a small scale dairy farm established under Accelerated Implementation Programme (AIP) in Bara tehsil of the district.
Deputy Director Dr Sajjad Wazir and Deputy Director Planning Dr Kamran also accompanied him on this occasion.
On this occasion, officials briefed Secretary Livestock Mukhtar Ahmed on the different parts of the farm.
Mr Mukhtiar directed the officers of the farms about the proper implementation of the AIP project and asked them to ensure continuous monitoring of the development projects in the district.
He said the provincial department for Livestock making spirited efforts to increase the production of all those facilities established for the production of milk and livestock.
“Provision of maximum facilities should be ensured so that the agricultural production of the landlords increases substantially,” he added.
