Sessions of both the Upper House (Senate) and the Lower House (National Assembly) will be held today (Monday) at the Parliament House. According to notifications issued by the Senate and National Assembly Secretariats, the Senate session is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, while the National Assembly session will commence at 5:00 pm. Ahead of the sittings, meetings of the respective advisory committees will be held in the Chairman Senate’s Chamber and the Speaker’s Chamber, where key matters including the nomination of presiding officers and other important agenda-related issues will be discussed.
