PTI senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been acquitted in the cases related to siege and arson of Shadman police station and torching police vehicles.
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has announced decision in both the cases related to May 9 violence.
Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid , Ejaz Chaudhry and Umar Sarfraz Cheema were awarded 10 years sentence each in jail.
Judge Manzar Ali Gill of ATC Lahore announced decision in Kot Lakhpat jail.
Trial of 19 accused was completed in Shadman police station torching case.
The accused include Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Omar Sarfaraz Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza.
There are 41 accused nominated in the case while 15 accused have been declared proclaimed offenders.
6 accused are in the custody of police while one accused has died in police station Shadman torching case. Cases against the accused are registered under terrorism and other clauses.
Trial in respect of case of torching vehicles outside bakery was completed in Kot Lakhpat jail. The accused are Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmood ur Rashid, Aliya Hamza and Sanam Javed.
