LAHORE : Court of Additional Sessions Judge has granted interim bail to Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz till July 10 in Sugar Mills scandal and money laundering case.
The interim bail plea came up for hearing before Syed Ali Abbas additional sessions judge Monday.
The court has directed the two to file surety bonds of Rs 10 lac each besides ordering FIA not to arrest both of them till next hearing.
Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz had filed interim bail plea in sugar mills scandal and money laundering case.

Shahbaz Sharif took the plea FIA had leveled baseless charges against them as they had nothing to do with the directors of sugar mills. My children are independent. He had distributed all the inherited property assets among the children.
The petitioner said Sindh government reduced the prices of sugar all of a sudden at that time. Sindh government had fixed sugar price Rs 180 per maund while Punjab had fixed price of sugar Rs 182 per maund. But Sindh High court had fixed the price of sugar Rs 162 per maund and ordered to give subsidy of Rs 12. Punjab did not accept the decision of Sindh High Court and imposed excise duty Rs 2 per maund.
According to him he was asked to allow subsidy of Rs 15 to people of Punjab.
He said he would present all his record before court with reference to sugar mills despite the fact he had already said in jail he had nothing to do with sugar mill. It is not known why FIA has registered case against him despite it.
He requested the court he wants to join FIA investigations and he is afraid lest FIA should arrest him. Therefore, his interim bail plea be accepted.
He said NAB had already filed reference with reference to sugar mills matters.
Amjid Pervez Advocate filed interim bail plea on behalf of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Sharif in the court.
