‘life threats’
ISLAMABAD
Former Accountability advisor Shahzad Akbar has once again regretted to appear before NAB in person. He said “now I don’t live in Pakistan. I am British citizen. I am facing life threats, therefore, I cannot share my UK address”. I have already written letters three time extending offer to record my statement through video link. I have shown my willingness to record my statement in Pakistan embassy. He further said in reply I am still ready to record my statement through video link. I don’t live in Pakistan now. I am resident of UK legally.
My addresses in Pakistan are no more my addresses. I have come to know from media about NAB notices. I am facing life threats. I cannot share my address in UK. NAB should e-mail it whatever notice it has to send.

Shahzad Akbar mentioned about raid on his brother home and his kidnapping in his reply.

He further said in his reply NCA has never sent money to Pakistan. NCA has said in press release it is a civil settlement and it is not an offence. Investigation into one hyde park place is already underway in NAB.

He stated Hassan Nawaz had purchased one hyde park at the cost of 10.5 million pounds in 2007 and he sold it at the cost of 42 million pounds in 2016.
During Mian Nawaz Sharif premiership this was sold forcibly at higher cost. NAB should ascertain about its status and tell.
