Shangla court declares PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai as absconder

A local court in Shangla has declared former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister and PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai as a proclaimed offender. More provisions have been added to the FIR registered against Shaukat Yousafzai, while the Shangla police conducted raids to arrest the former provincial minister, but he was not found.
The local court of Shangla declared Shaukat Yousafzai as an absconder. Shangla police had reached Peshawar to arrest Shaukat Yousafzai on the occasion of PTI intra-party election on Saturday. But they could not arrest him because he was not present at his residence in the city.
A case was registered against Shaukat Yousafzai in Shangla under Sections 109, 506, 109, 147, 186, 188, and 149 on November 21. Raids were conducted in his native village Bisham. The court today declared him absconder after police failed to find and arrest the former provincial minister.
