The Provincial Minister for Labor and Culture Shaukat Yousafzai convoy crashed during a visit in the far plunge area of the district. Two persons were seriously injured in the accident. However, the provincial minister Shaukat Yousifzai was safe in the accident. According to the reports the vehicle fell into a ditch hundreds of feet deep. The injured, who sustained severe injuries, were shifted to Swat hospital.
