KARACHI
Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued order to eliminate encroachments on park and illegal constructions.
On an application against construction on the land of park in scheme 33 Karachi through illegal possession of land, the court ordered to demolish encroachments and illegal constructions besides restoring the park in original position.
The court said in its decision KMC should extend cooperation to respective authorities in eradication of encroachments and restoration of park.
The court has sought implementation report from Deputy Commissioner East and Revenue Authorities till January 20. Counsel for the petitioner advocate Usman Farooq took the plea human lives are also facing threat due to illegal constructions.
K-Electric installations too are there at the site of constructions.
Advocate Usman Farooq told the court K-Electric too has written letter that there is threat here due to constructions. It has been requested in the petition illegal constructions in scheme-33, Sector 15-A be demolished immediately.
The builder be restrained from making more constructions and booking of the building.
