On the other hand, the supporters of opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are reaching to the federal capital for power show amid heightened political tensions.
Several caravans of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have arrived Islamabad after passing through various cities of the country, where they were greeted and joined by workers of the opposition. Members of JUI-F have camped on both sides of the Srinagar Highway of the capital city Meanwhile, supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are also on they way under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shahbaz. Banners and posters in support of long march can be found in entire province of Punjab.

She also said that our convoy is being welcomed everywhere and the no-confidence motion has been succeeded. Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sunday said that the ‘illegitimate’ government needed a single push to collapse.
She further said that this country, people and institutions belong to Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N supremo is good for everyone, adding that the government is holding rallies on state resources.
Maulana Fazl maintained while directing his criticism at the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) that the historic public meeting in Islamabad would prove to be a tool for the removal of the illegitimately installed government. Maulana Fazl also vowed to stay in Islamabad.
Fazlur Rehman said that the whole country has flocked towards the federal capital to attend the joint opposition’s public gathering on March 28. He said that everyone is demanding the ouster of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and fresh elections.
The JUI caravans, as part of the opposition’s long march against the government, have camped on Srinagar Highway in Islamabad. All preparations for the public meeting at H-9 Park have also been finalised. There are JUI flags everywhere on Srinagar Highway.
It is to be noted here that Islamabad has virtually become a battleground for the political parties as both the government and the opposition have chosen to display their muscles in the federal capital amid political uncertainty regarding the PM’s removal through the no-confidence motion.
