Vice President Pakistan People Party (PPP) Sherry Rehman has congratulated journalists and all Pakistan on Friday, as Islamabad High Court (IHC) nullified PECA Ordinance on Friday.
She said that within 24 hours court has declared another action unconstitutional.
“PECA Ordinance was brought to victimize the opponents” said Sherry Rehman.
She said “PECA Ordinance was against basic human rights.”
PECA was a government tool to control media and freedom of expression, she said.
She also said that tomorrow will be the end of worst dictatorship.
