ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Imran Khan’s chief of staff Shibli Faraz was shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated in police custody. Shibli Faraz’s health deteriorated after police fired shells at the PTI workers – accompanying PTI Chairman Imran Khan – during the latter’s court appearance. Earlier in the day, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad said that as a result of stone pelting several police personnel got injured. The enraged workers also put a police check post on fire. He claimed that a few shells were dropped near Police personnel, and the policemen are looking into that. In a separate statement, interior minister Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan was supposed to appear before the court at 3:30 pm but he didn’t appear yet. He revealed that the CM Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan squad is also accompanying the PTI chairman Imran Khan to court. DNA
