Shiekh Badin Park to be rehabilitated to attract tourists: Faisal Amin

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local government Faisal Amin Gandapur and Commissioner Dera Division Aamir Afaq visited Shiekh Badin National Park on Saturday.
District Forest Officer (DFO) Wildlife Khan Malook briefed the minister about rehabilitation projects initiated by the provincial government for the park, adding that these projects included road access to Shiekh Badin Park, Daak Banglow and other maintenance works for beatification of the park. The minister was also informed about the historical buildings of the park and its flora and fauna.
Speaking on the occasion, provincial minister said that steps have been taken by archives department to rehabilitate historic building situated in the park. He said that rehabilitation work would help attracting tourists to this scenic point besides creating opportunities of growth for the locals.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shiekh Badin which is a national park of the and recently it has been notified as a heritage site. The park has British Heritage buildings.
