ISLAMABAD
Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued short written order about acquittal of Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference. Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq and justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb issued the order.
It has been said in the order appeal against conviction of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is accepted. The December 24, 2018 decision of Accountability Court (AC) in Alazizia reference is declared null and void. It has been further said in written order Nawaz Sharif is acquitted from the charges leveled against him in Al-Azizia reference.
The detailed reasons of the decision will be issued later.
