Finance Minister Shoukat Tareen said that Government through Kamyaab Pakistan Program will uplift the standard of life of poor segments of society. .
Through this program, the bank would connect to the low income segment through micro finance institutions he added.
He said this while chairing the consultation board meeting for Kamyaab Pakistan Program under which different aspects of the program were finalized.
Banks and Micro Finance Departments were discussed in the meeting. Decision was taken for release of funds and quarterly review.
According to the communiqué by Finance Ministry, an information system will be developed under the program after which a help line will be generated while for effectiveness and confirmation, the system will be connected with NADRA and Ehsaas data.
Shoukat Tareen also said that the program will be started at different levels and in the first phase the deserving persons from backward and poor districts will be made part of this program. .
