Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Chaudhry Shujaat dismissed party leader Kamil Ali Agha, who allegedly supported Parvez Elahi group, from the post of Secretary General of Punjab.
The basic membership of the party was also abolished.
Tariq Bashir Cheema, a member of the Shujaat Group, said that he is writing to the Senate Chairman to terminate Kamil Ali Agha’s Senate membership as well.
According to the notification issued by Q-League Central Secretary General Tariq Bashir Cheema, Kamil Ali Agha’s party membership has been terminated and he has also been removed from the post of Provincial Secretary General.
The notification states that the nomination of Kamil Ali Agha as a senator is also declared null and void.
Q-League has also decided to write a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to remove Kamil Ali Agha from the Senate seat.
