SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that dreams of the people Sialkot regarding better travelling facilities and development will be materialized after Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will perform the groundbreaking of 89 kilometers long Sialkot-Lahore Motorway (M-11) on Monday (tomorrow).
Khawaja Asif stated while talking to media persons here on Sunday after chairing the meeting to review the arrangements for earth-breaking ceremony scheduled to be held at Saahowala-Sambrial on Monday, regarding Sialkot-Lahore Motorway project during which PM Nawaz Sharif will the lay foundation stone of the project.
He said that the stage is set to materialize the project of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway project and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address a big public meeting there.
The Minister claimed that the golden era of Sialkot’s socio-economic and human development will begin as the mega project of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway will change the economical destiny besides brining strong industrial revolution in the region as well.
Four local MNAs Dr. Shakeela Luqman, Rana Shamim Ahmed, Ch. Armughan Subhani and Syed Iftikharul Hassan Shah, eleven MPAs, Commissioner Gujranwala Division Capt (Rtd) Muhammad Asif, Additional Inspector General of Police Punjab/ Regional Police Officer Gujranwala Muhammad Tahir, Sialkot DCO Dr. Asif Tufail, Sialkot DPO Dr. Abid Khan and other senior security officials also attended the meeting in connection with reviewing with arrangements for the groundbreaking ceremony.
