Karachi: The Sindh Cabinet on Tuesday amended Pension Rules according to which a government officer can avail retirement after serving for 25 years or at the age of 55 years, media reported. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the government officials’ pension-related problems would be solved after the new policy for pensioners is implemented. He said that pensioners will now get the pension on time. According to media report, As per the amended pension policy 1963, at the death of a government officer on duty, his child could get the pension till the age of 21 years contrary to the previous policy of getting pension till the age of 26 years.
