ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market turned positive on Monday, with the market capitalization gaining 2.4 percent to reach $2.70 trillion. As of 1005 hours GMT, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, went up to $68,097 with an increase of 2.8 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $1.338 trillion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 4.4 percent down in the past seven days. Similarly, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, went up by 1.1 percent to reach $3,588. With this increase in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $431 billion. ETH has shed 10.5 percent of its value during the last seven days. Similarly, Solana price jumped by 10.3 percent to reach $205. With this increase in price, its market capitalization has reached $90.8 billion. SOL has gained 37.1 percent of its value during the last seven days. Solana’s latest surge in price has catapulted the cryptocurrency into the spotlight, with Google Trends indicating a search popularity score of 100 for Solana, the highest in its five-year history.
