PESHAWAR: Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Division Tariq Mahmood Khan has ordered quarters concerned to maintain high alert and speed up search and combing operations as well as tighten security on check posts and police stations. He issued these instructions while chairing a meeting to review the law and order situation in view of the ongoing situation in the provincial capital. The meeting which was attended by DPOs, SHOs and in charge of different police stations of the rural division reviewed the overall security situation. SP Rural ordered police officials to keep their eyes on all criminal activities and remain vigilant during their duties, adding that police during the line of duties ensure safety measures including wearing jackets and helmets. Tariq Mahmood Khan maintained that all available resources would be utilized to maintain peace and tranquility in the rural set-up of the provincial capital. Haqnawaz Shinwari
