Speaker National Assembly (NA) Raja Pervaz Ashraf once again delayed to approve Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) resignations on Saturday.
Allies have different opinion on PTI member’s resignations.
According to parliamentary sources, Speaker held consultation with various allied parties on accepting resignation.
NA Speaker has been advised to approve the resignation of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Shireen Mazari, Fawad Chaudhry, Farukh Habib, Murad Saeed, Ali Amin Gandapur to build pressure on PTI, while some other said it should be no hurry in accepting the resignation and government should continue to bring them back to parliament as most of the member don’t want to resign from the seat, as they have not left government residences.
Allied parties said most of PTI members are against the resignation and wants to come back to house, that’s why PTI leadership stop them to appear before the speaker individually.
Raja Pervaz decided to hold consultation with PM Shehbaz, Asif Zardari and Moulana Fazal Rehman and delayed to accept the resignation few more days.
