Special financial package gives away to Tirah affectees

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa granted a 90.5 million rupees financial package to the relatives of 22 affected persons of 27 July, 2025 incident in Tirah Valley. It is worth mentioning here that on 27 July, 2025, some locals stoned the brigade office in Tirah in protest rally against mortars shelling.
During firing of the forces to disperse the protestors, 05 persons were killed and 17 others sustained injuries.
In this connection a gathering was organized in Jirga hall, tehsil Tirah that was attended by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Khyber Capt. (Retd) Bilal Shahid Rao, Commander 27 Brigade Brigadier Asif Khan, Additional DC(Relief)Irshad Ali,Addetional Assistant Commssioner,Ismatullah and scores of tribal elders, traders and others officials.
On behalf of the provincial government, the DC, Khyber collectively distributed cheques of 90.5 million rupees comprising ten million for the deceased ones and five million rupees for injured persons.
Earlier, the Dc met with the family members of 22 affected persons of the occurrence.
It is to be stated here that they provincial government had announced special financial package for the Tirah affected persons of 27 July happening.
