Spelling bee competition will be held on July 25

A competition titled “Spelling bee” will be held on Tuesday, July 25 in the auditorium of Fazal Haq College, Mardan, from the platform of Reading Club managed by District Administration Mardan, a press statement issued by assistant commission (AC) Ayesha Tahir focal person of the Reading Club said.
According to the statement the district administration on the directive of Commissioner Mardan Yousaf Rahim will organize the competition. Walk-in registration to participate in the competition will be on a first-come-first-served basis from 9 am to 10.30 am. The quiz competition will continue from 1 pm to 4 pm.
According to the statement there are three stages of this exciting competition. The first stage will be called the qualifying round in which the participants will be allotted 50 multiple-choice questions and 25 minutes will be given to solve it. The first ten high scorers will advance to the knockout stage. The knockout stage will have three rounds and each round will have three numbers. Each student will be asked to spell and pronounce three words. There will be two rounds of the final stage. Participants will be asked to spell and pronounce three English words. The top three students will be given one more chance and the judges will decide the champion and two runners up.
