Following the directives of SSP Operations Haroon Rashid police arrested five notorious criminals during search and strike operations at difference localities of the provincial capital.
Police in the operations also busted as many as 127 suspects, persons released from jails, unregistered tenants and 42 Afghani nationals in operations.
Action has also been taken against eight suspects involved in aerial firing, including those providing assistance and shelter to notorious suspects.
Kalashnikovs, 19 pistols, three Rifles, shot guns and hundreds of different bore cartridges have been recovered and cases have been registered against suspects in the operations.
SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed has directed to intensify the ongoing crackdown for maintaining peace in the city.
