ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza on Thursday chaired an important meeting with zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs of relevant police stations to review policing matters and public service delivery. A police spokesperson told media that the meeting focused on strengthening law and order, improving policing performance and ensuring effective service to citizens across the federal capital. During the meeting, the SSP Qazi issued special directives to officers regarding the discharge of official duties, stressing effective crime prevention, enhanced patrolling, transparent and quality investigations, and indiscriminate action against drug peddlers and illegal arms. He instructed officers to remain fully alert and ensure a swift and effective response to any emergency situation, warning that negligence or laxity would not be tolerated at any level. DNA
