SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed on Wednesday paid a visit and inquired about the health of injured Sikh minority citizen Papinder Singh.
He inquired about the welfare of Papinder Singh and got information about the incident. City Atiq Shah and other Sikh leaders including Sikh community leader Baba Gopal Singh were also present with him.
The SSP operation clarified that a case has been registered against the accused involved in the incident and a comprehensive investigation has been started which will be punished by the court, he added, adding that there is no compromise on the security of the minority community.
SSP operation added that Pappinder Sikh is supervising the case himself.
SSP Operation Haroon Rasheed later visited Gurdwara Jogan Shah and reviewed the security arrangements. He also reviewed the security of the route and surroundings including CCTV cameras and issued special instructions.
