Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza on Friday visited mosques and imambargahs across the federal capital to personally review security arrangements for Friday prayers and directed deployed personnel to remain fully alert and ensure the safety and facilitation of worshippers.

An official told APP that the SSP Qazi inspected security arrangements at different worship places and briefed police officers deployed on duty.

He directed the personnel to perform their duties effectively, remain vigilant and maintain close watch on their surroundings to ensure a peaceful environment for worshippers.
As part of the security inspection, Qazi, accompanied by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kohsar, Nosherwan Ahsan Minhas, visited Faisal Mosque, where he carried out a detailed review of both security and traffic arrangements for Friday prayers.
The officers inspected police deployment and arrangements made to facilitate the movement of worshippers and traffic around the mosque.
The SSP Qazi directed deployed personnel to remain alert throughout their duty and ensure that citizens were provided a safe and secure environment without unnecessary inconvenience.
He also stressed effective coordination between security and traffic personnel to facilitate worshippers and maintain smooth movement around Faisal Mosque.
Qazi directed officers to maintain vigilance at their respective duty points and ensure effective implementation of the security arrangements during Friday prayers.
