State of art Badminton Hall, Cricket Academies completed in Swabi: Murad Ali Mohmand

The work on indoor ball hall and cricket academy in Chota Lahore, Swabi completed under Prime Minister 1000 Playground Facilities and after completion of the facilities it has been handed over to Regional Sports Officer Swabi Muhammad Tariq Khan.
Director Project Prime Minister 1000 Playground Facilities Murad Ali Mohmad, Engr. Paras Ahmad, Egr. Omar Shehzad, elders of the areas of Chotta Lahore, District Swabi, Regional Sports Officer Muhammad Tariq Khan, players of badminton and cricket, former PCB Governor Board Member Amir Nawab were also present during the handing and taking over ceremonies of the two international standard facilities developed under Prime Minister 1000 Playground Facilities.
Talking to the gathering, Murad Ali Mohmand said that as desired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, outgoing Secretary Sports Abid Majeed and Director General Sports Asfandyar Khan Khattak the two major sports facilities have been completed in a record time and now we are going to handover such facilities to Regional Sports Officer Muhammad Tariq Khan to utilize such facilities as playing venues for both Badminton and Cricket Academy.
Murad Ali Mohmand, Director of 1000 Sports Project visited Chota Lahore Badminton Hall along with a team of Engineering Wing and lauded both Engr. Paras Ahmad and Engr. Umar Shehzad for their continuous visits to check the quality work under the supervision of Head of the Engineering Wing Ahmad Ali.
He said, the construction of Chota Lahore Badminton Hall has been completed recently. Engineers Paras Ahmad and Omar Shehzad inspected the venues.
He said soon after handing over such facilities, the registration of players started in Badminton Hall and Cricket Academy.
He said the PMU team also visited Zaida, Kala Butt and Baja Bam Khail Cricket Academies where work have been completed and decision was taken to hand over these academies to Regional Sports Officer Muhammad Tariq Khan.
Murad Ali Mohmand said that the cricket academies were developed as per the standards of Pakistan Cricket Board. Murad Ali Mohmand appreciated the work and said that cricket academies and badminton halls had thoroughly been monitored by two young Engineers Paras Ahmad Khan and Omer Shehzad and ensured quality of work as per the directives of the Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan.
He said that with the construction of the sports facilities have been made available to the players at their doorsteps and it is hoped that we will get the best talent from here.
Sports facilities are being provided in every nook and corner as per the directives of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan. He said that steps are being taken to complete all such projects well in time and address the shortfall of the funds availability.
He said the shortfall of the funds have been discussed with the newly appointed Director General Sports Khalid Khan and he too showed interest in availability of funds to all ongoing projects under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s 1000 Playground Facilities.
He said that these initiatives of the provincial government would give a boost to sports and give opportunities to the players to come forward and avoid wastage of talent. There will also be those who will shine the name of the country and the nation not only at the provincial, national levels but at international level as well.
