Steps afoot to provide basic facilities to people at doorstep: Pir Musavir

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Forests, Environment, Wildlife, and Climate Change, Pir Musavir Khan, has said that the provincial government was taking concrete measures to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorstep, said a handout.
He stated that construction and repair work on various roads in Tehsil Dargai of the Malakand District is progressing rapidly, ensuring safe and quality travel facilities for the public. He expressed these views during meetings with delegations from Dargai and other parts of Malakand district at his office. On this occasion, several public issues were resolved on the spot, while others were forwarded to the relevant departments for early action.
Pir Musavir Khan informed that road development projects are underway in Tehsil Dargai, particularly in constituency PK-24. Restoration work has begun on the Khanwari–Gaoza Road, which was severely damaged during recent rains. Similarly, a project worth Rs. 20 million has been approved for the construction of the Haryankot–Dargai Bargh Ghakhay Kot Road, and the tender has already been issued. Once completed, these projects will significantly improve public mobility.
He further stated that important steps are also being taken to promote education in Malakand. The BS Computer Science program will soon be launched at Government Degree College Badraga, enabling local students to access quality higher education in their own area.
“Education is a core part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s manifesto and the provincial government’s top priority,” he added.
