Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says all-out measures will be taken to improve and standardize education in public schools of the province.
While chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she directed to restart the morning assembly in public schools in Punjab.
She also sought a comprehensive plan for shifting public schools to solar energy. The meeting also reviewed the suggestion to start afternoon classes and evening coaching centers in public schools. The meeting also approved re-establishment of the School Education Council and the restructuring of the Punjab Curriculum Wing.
Maryam Nawaz decides to use helicopter to attend CM office from Jati Umra and back
Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has decided to attend CM office from Jati Umra and return by helicopter.
The first lady CM of Punjab has decided to use helicopter from Jati Umra to office.
Under it CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz travelled from Jati Umra to CM office by helicopter Thursday. Her personal staff also reached the office by helicopter along with CM Maryam Nawaz.
It is being said this step has been taken to save the citizens from traffic problems. as the people have to face traffic embarrassment due to construction of Jati Umra to Adda plot single road.
It has been said a practice visit was made from Jati Umra to CM office by helicopter. The CM reached CM office from Jati Umra within 15 minutes.
The daily schedule of CM daily travelling from Jati Umra to CM office has not been provided.
The 4 hours travelling by CM Punjab will incur Rs 2.50 lac. Maryam Nawaz will meet these expenses out of her own pocket.
PML-N social media activist Pervez Sandhela has said Maryam Nawaz has decided to go to office by helicopter but the helicopter has been hired privately. Maryam Nawaz herself will incur travelling expenses by helicopter out of her own pocket.
